Honor Daytona State College Alumni at Dispatches from the Front
Eight Daytona State College photography alumni return to the Southeast Museum of Photography to exhibit recent work. The group includes New York Times Staff photographer Stephen Crowley, and Daytona Beach News-Journal Photographer Lola Gomez. Each photographer represented in the exhibit supplied images and stories from their most recent and significant photo project.
The projects range from defending Rhinoceros' from poachers, remembrances of the Orlando Pulse shooting, documenting life in DC as a white house photographer, and an exploration of how diversity shapes a metropolis. The Southeast Museum of Photography will present each of these projects along with appropriate didactic material. Museum visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the resources made available for more information on each of the projects, or for guided tours of the exhibit.
At Central Manor Apartments in Daytona Beach, Florida, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
